Jonathan NicholsJonathan graduated from the British School Of Osteopathy - London in 1987. He is accredited by The General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association. After graduating he worked for a large Osteopathic practice based in Herefordshire. His first practice was established in Clifton Village, Bristol in 1989.


In 1991 the Chepstow Osteopathic Clinic was established and in 1995 the Shirehampton Osteopathic Clinic was also opened. He has also worked in the remedial dance injuries clinic of the Arts Education School, London and as Osteopath to the ‘Bristol Old Vic’ theatre company.


With over 25 years experience Jonathan practices traditional ‘structural’ osteopathy, treating people of all ages, shapes and sizes for the widest possible range of conditions - with particular interests in both sports and performing arts related injuries.
Jonathan tries to maintain his own fitness by visiting the gym, alongside his other sporting interests of running, swimming, tennis and windsurfing (when time allows!)


Jon sails regularly, competing in offshore events like ‘The Fastnet’ and has completed an Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean.
He is also a keen musician – playing the violin in various local orchestras and groups.

Amelia Davies - Registered Osteopath BSc. (Hons) Ost. Med.

Amelia DaviesAmelia graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004 gaining a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Osteopathic Medicine and a Diploma in Naturopathy.

 

She is accredited by The General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association.

Amelia enjoys treating a wide variety of problems, from chronic aches and pains in the back, to occupational strains of the neck or sports related injuries.

 

Her work primarily targets the rapid relief of symptoms, whilst also aiming to minimise the possibility of recurrence by examining all aspects of every individual’s work and lifestyle. This helps her provide efficient treatment and sensible, sound advice to help speed the recovery of every patient.

 

She is interested in Pilates, aerobics and walking. She is also a qualified Duke of Edinburgh Leader and a trampolining instructor.
